    Hi Darrel,
I just wanted to drop you a line to express my sincerest thanks for everything last week in Las Vegas. That was, without exaggeration, one of the most fun and memorable weeks of my life. I enjoyed every minute of my time in Vegas, including SHOT, the dinners with you, Sharon, and others, the TKI, the Carrot Top show, and much more. And of course it was great talking about knives, materials, and all the cool stuff that DDR/HTM/Meyerco has in the works with you, Mike, Kirby, Greg, and others.

I'm going to be sharpening up that Gunhammer Torpedo proto on my Edge Pro tonight or tomorrow, and then it's going straight into my pocket.
I'll send you some pics in a month or two so you can see how the finish on the handle wears. I'm also busy taking pictures of a number of the remaining non-DDR/HTM knives in my collection so I can list them for sale on eBay or the forums and get them sold. As I've mentioned to you a couple times before, after carrying/using your knives (especially the custom Gunhammers), I really don't want to carry or use anything else!
I think I'll even be letting go of the Sal Manaro and Les George customs I picked up at the TKI. They're very nice knives (especially the Manaro), but they don't match the combination of utility, beauty, and ergonomics of my Gunhammers and Madd Maxxes.

Anyway, sorry this email is a bit on the long side, so I'll wrap it up by reiterating my appreciation for an awesome time in Vegas and, of course, for the superb, innovative work that you, Virgil, and the other folks at DDR/HTM are doing.

P.S. I'm looking forward to your attempts to find a steel/heat-treat combination that will make my Edge Pro explode. Bring on the S90V, 10V, and whatever else you have up your sleeve! ;)
