BLACK MAXX is a double guard flipper knife with a Boron Carbide Coating.
This coating, in my opinion, is one of the best at this time. The blade is
4 or 5.5 inches long and comes in either a Dagger blade, Semi-spear point or
Bowie style or the all new Bullnose™ (See New Designs Section) blades. The
titanium frame is satin finished, then Boron Carbide coated.
The lock is very strong on this knife. It is the IBL (integral bar lock).
For opening, the guard can be flipped with your finger. This was the design
idea. The blade stops are designed to stop both in the open and closed
position. The blade can also be opened with the guard ear on top as a thumb
stud type opener. I have chosen D2 modified from crucible for the blade
steel. The knife comes wicked sharp.
