Prototype SAS 18 X RAY

This knife sports a 4 inch blade, Aircraft Aluminum Black
Hard coated Frame, Crucible CPM154 hi tech stainless
steel blade that is Nitro "sub zero" quenched for ultimate durability.

 The AK1 is the first of our new knives to employ
 the new SAS™.  Its innovative
 automatic firing mechanism operates on one button just
 like conventional switchblade knives, but is carried in
 SAFE mode at all times to prevent accidental discharge
 in your pocket.
 
 The RELEASE button must be moved to the FIRE position
 to open the blade, and it automatically returns to SAFE
 mode when closed - keeping your fingers safe from
 accidental closure.  When you close the knife again,
 the release button is returned to the safe position. 
                                      
 The AK1™ is designed by Darrel Ralph and the SAS™ mechanism
 is his patented technology.  We will be incorporating the
 SAS™ into new additions to the Darrel Ralph Designs
 signature line soon. 
 
 Darrel Ralph technology such as the Sure Grip II™ System,
 SAS™ mechanism, CF inlays and Combat Drop Point blade
 make this the ultimate combat switchblade.
